You knew this movie would be bad, I knew it would be bad. Everyone knew that remaking Aladdin using CG would be bad. But no one expected how oddly awful it would be. The actors in this movie just don’t feel right. The guy who plays Aladdin is the most stereotypical hero ever. Just a bland character who does nothing for the movie. If you think the main character is bad than just listening to the princesses dialogue will make you puke. I'm pretty sure she keeps the same tone throughout the movie. She’s really only good at singing but they ruined the songs as well. Not because they made them worse on purpose, its because they used auto-tune. Just let a singer sing in the movie. You don’t need auto-tune if they can sing which they can. Especially Will Smith. He’s one of the only positives. Since of his background in music he makes his songs feel like actual songs instead of auto-tune garbage. The only other positive is the villain. They have a great way of portraying a methodical and shouty man in power which is what the original movie did really well on. Other than that, the scenes are jumbled together, they jump to a different frame and cut off the action and its an overall bad movie. 2/10 auto-tune bad.

A suspenseful and stunning horror film. The director for getting Out really knew what he was doing with his captivating storyline, flawless characterization, and hooTettycreatingo that realistic feel of terror and trauma. There are many intricate things going on in the film that you really have to pay attention if you want to grasp the full extent of the film
I'm not even going to lead into my thoughts: it's just a great film. Every actor in this movie feels real. The cast alone is enough to see it but the story of the movie is even better. There are so many twists and turns that would make a normal blockbuster feel the same, but it has a realistic way of doing it. It constantly grasps you into these characters and not making every character perfect. Are main character is an active member of the mafia who has instigated murders and at some points the movie makes you feel for the man. If your not gonna pick up this movie then at least watch the hit scenes on YouTube.( The hit scenes are basically when they organize an act of crime on some dude and its sick.) I give Fellas of Good a great old 9.99/10. Reason being I don’t wanna give a movie a ten.
The Parent Trap is a movie about two twin girls that were split at birth and meet again at a summer camp and realize they were actually sisters. When the camp is over the girls decide to switch places so they can experience life with their other parent, though in the end their parents get back together and they all get to live together again.
In the movie I liked the plot and the idea of the story because it had a good concept. I also liked that in the movie it was never extremely obvious that Lindsay Lohan was playing both girls, the way it was edited made sure that it 100% looked like there was a actually pair of twins rather than of course Lindsay Lohan playing both of them. I also really liked the setting of the movie being in the woods for the first part made it a lot more realistic than just using something like a green screen, then when the setting was transferred to the different parent’s house I liked that they used those houses specifically because it gave a good setup and it matched what the movie was making it seem like those two houses would look like. Overall I liked the movie a lot and I didn’t find anything I didn’t like. Home Alone is one of the biggest and well remembered movies of all time, at least at being a Christmas movie. Of course most people remember it for the traps that the main character Kevin puts down in the end of the movie. I’m also almost 99 percent sure they popularized the term “filthy animal”. But does it deserve its praise? I mean, we all love the stuff from are childhood but it usually isn't that great all these years later. Does it really hold up? Well, it's still great. The way I would describe would be just heartwarming and fun. Yeah its cheesy but somehow stays realistic in many ways. The feeling that everyone hates you when your a child, the responsibility of parenthood, that everyone in New York is apparently stupid all the lessons you need to know. The jokes aren't childish and never fall flat. The climax is the goofiest thing I have ever scene in my life. It has a few little details that don’t make a lot of sense but other than that its an amazing movie. I know it's the middle of spring, and this is a Christmas movie. But do ya self a favor, pick up the DVD, watch it on Netflix or illegally. I give this movie a 9 outta 10. Needs more explosions.
The Isle of Dogs is a movie that tells about how a 12-year-old boy named Atari, travels across the river from Nagasaki city to a place called Trash Island to save his dog. I really like the plot and the idea the creator had in mind. Especially since it was made out of clay models and was a stop motion film. It shows that the creators had a lot of patients based on how detailed the animating and the movement of the characters were. Overall, the movie was great, and I would definitely recommend.
There was a girl named Stella who had Cystic fibrosis (CF) which mean her lungs are very weak and her body creates a substantial amount of mucus. She has to do many treatments each and every day to treat her weak lungs to get rid of as much mucus as possible so her lungs would function better. During her process through the hospital since she was a really little girl, she met her best friend, Poe that also had CF. He was a very kind-hearted guy until one day his weak lungs stopped functioning. She also met somebody that she secretly really liked named Will. When you have CF you have to stay a minimum of 6 feet apart. Since Stella thought that her treatment controlled her life she wanted to take something back in return so she decided to live life on the edge and took one foot back so she could stand 5ft instead of 6 feet apart from other CFers. Will secretly liked Stella back and he knew that every once in a while she would go visit the baby hospital nursery. They started meeting there more often and bonded more and more every day. They started falling in love and one night decided to break the rules and getting closer and closer, smaller than 5 feet apart….
Shrek is a phenomenon. It's somehow stayed so relevant in conversations ever since its release. But what's so important about the movie? Is it the story? Is it the performance? Or is it the cast? It's none of those. It's not a very good movie but to my surprise, its kinda good. There are some scenes that are truly all inspiring. For example, when Shrek and Eddie Murphy are in a field of sunflowers he says,” Ogres are like onions. They both have layers.¨ That scene got me thinking for at least 5 minutes of my day. Some scenes are completely pointless. Like the scene they are torturing the gingerbread man. Over all I give this film a good 6/10.
This story is a sequel to happy death day is about a serial killer that is the man that has a affair with a lady name Lorie that is his friends roommates roommate. The serial killer tries many time to anyone that gets into his way to kill Lorie because he thinks that she gets in the way of his and his wife’s relationship even though he was secretly having affair with his wife. So when his wife finds out she gets very angry and he regrets that he has been with Lorie and not his wife so he tries to pay her back by killing Lorie. There are many different dimensions that this story is being took place in so Lorie's roommate has to make an decision to stay in the dimension that is being held in the past where her mom is alive or go in the other dimension to be with the guy she loves.
Pro I would recommend this movie because if fun to figure out who the killer is and what he’s wants from someone. Con I would not recommend because it’s hard to find the message that the author is trying to say to the audience and for most people it’s kinda hard to figure out who the killer is. I would recommend this movie for people who likes scary movies but don’t at the same time. Birdbox is a movie that has recently came out on Netflix as a Netfilx Original Rated R, for their graphic/violent scenes. In which it cuts to scenes of the past and present times. I found the plot interesting, it is a sci-fi movie so it’s expected that you suspend belief while watching so the plot holes didn’t really matter. The main theme I assume is motherhood, in which Malorie learns to love “Boy” and “Girl” and almost sacrifices herself for them. While I feel the book portrays this better, as Malorie takes off her blindfold while on the rapids instead of going in blind. The number one question is the deaths. What causes it exactly? The presence of the cause is never seen exactly, but its existence results in death to those who see it.
I feel if the movie portrayed the characters and theme better it would be a pretty good movie, I feel they were too caught up in trying to make the movie “scary” or “suspenseful” and forgot to make it an actual movie. Although, it is very well good as the movie has 62% rotten tomatoes, and an audience score of 62% as well. Besides the point |
